1) Roles & data control
sender.ae is built for businesses that run WhatsApp campaigns using an official WhatsApp Business API provider. In most cases:
- You are the Data Controller. You decide what data is uploaded, what messages are sent, and how leads are handled.
- sender.ae is the Data Processor. We process data only to deliver the service, based on your instructions.
We do not sell personal data and we do not claim ownership of your customer lists, conversations, or bookings.
2) Data we process
Customer data uploaded by you
- Names and phone numbers (Excel/CSV uploads)
- Optional tags/notes you add for targeting or segmentation
- Template variables (e.g., name, offer, branch)
Conversation & booking data (from replies)
- Inbound WhatsApp message content
- Lead qualification answers
- Booking details: service, date/time, branch, notes
- Conversation status (delivered, replied, confirmed, opted out)
Platform & security data
- Account info (business name, admin email, users)
- Login events, IP address, device/browser info
- Audit logs for key actions (campaign creation, exports, user access)
3) How data is used
We use data only to provide the sender.ae service:
- Send WhatsApp template campaigns (via your connected WhatsApp Business API provider)
- Run AI-assisted conversations to qualify and collect booking details
- Show dashboards, reports, and confirmation tables inside your account
- Enable exports/webhooks you configure (e.g., Google Sheets/CRM)
- Keep the platform secure (fraud prevention, monitoring, abuse controls)
4) Sharing & WhatsApp providers
sender.ae shares data only with services required to operate the platform (sub-processors), such as:
- Official WhatsApp Business API providers (message delivery and WhatsApp compliance)
- Cloud hosting and storage providers (secure infrastructure)
- Security, monitoring, and backup providers (reliability and incident detection)
We do not share data for advertising purposes and we do not sell data.
5) AI processing & human handoff
AI can reply to inbound messages, ask qualification questions, and collect booking details. You can control AI behavior and define when a human should take over.
- AI is designed to assist with replies and qualification — not to make legal decisions about people.
- Human handoff can be triggered by your rules or by your team.
- Authorized users in your account can review conversations for quality and follow-up.
6) Retention & deletion
- You can delete contacts, conversations, campaigns, or exports from your account (based on plan/features).
- We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements.
- Backups are encrypted and rotate on a schedule; deleted data is removed from backups over time.
7) Rights & requests
If an end-user requests access, correction, or deletion, the request should usually be handled by the business that contacted them (you). If you need technical support to fulfill a request, we can help as a processor.
8) Cookies
We use cookies for login, security, and performance. We do not use cookies to sell data or run third-party advertising. You can control cookies using your browser settings.
9) Your responsibilities as a customer
To use sender.ae properly, you confirm that:
- You have lawful consent or a valid legal basis to contact your list.
- Your database was collected legally and fairly.
- You include clear opt-out instructions (e.g., “Reply STOP to unsubscribe”).
- You follow WhatsApp Business policies and applicable UAE requirements.
10) WhatsApp STOP / opt-out policy
End-users can opt out by replying STOP (or similar keywords like “unsubscribe”). Once opted out, they should not receive further campaign messages unless they opt back in.
